چکیده

The objective of the present work is to investigate full phase diagram a binary system composed carbon dioxide and heavy paraffin. An alkane with an odd number was chosen since mixtures paraffins crystallize in orthorhombic structure like pure do. normal-heptadecane taken into consideration for this study as it has melting temperature close ambient condition (295 K). consists measuring both fluid equilibria fluid-solid transition conditions. measurement liquid-vapor liquid-liquid range 273 - 363 K been made well measurements solid crystallization up 70 MPa. influence content studied from 0 99%.

Molecular simulation of fluid phase equilibria

Recent advances in direct and indirect methods of molecular simulation for studying fluid phase equilibria are reviewed. The emphasis is on phase equilibria for fluids of nonspherical molecules, including ionic fluids, aqueous mixtures, hydrocarbons and chain molecules.

The Carbon Dioxide Tension of Cerebrospinal Fluid

The COz tension is a necessary factor in determining the acidbase equilibrium of the blood. It has been determined for blood both directly, and indirectly through CO2 of the alveolar air. The blood, because of oxidation, reduction, forced breathing, and stasis through constriction of the veins, undergoes variations in the COz tension. Does the cerebrospinal fluid which exists in a more isolated...

Volumetric Properties and Fluid Phase Equilibria of Co2 + H2o

The need for accurate modeling of fluid-mineral processes over wide ranges of temperature, pressure and composition highlighted considerable uncertainties of available property data and equations of state, even for the CO2 + H2O binary system. In particular, the solubility, activity, and ionic dissociation equilibrium data for the CO2-rich phase, which are essential for understanding dissolutio...

Coexistent Fluid-Phase Equilibria in Biomembranes with Bending Elasticity

The theory of fluid surfaces with elastic resistance to bending is applied to coexistent phase equilibria in biomembranes composed of lipid bilayers. A simplified version of the model is used to simulate the necking and budding of closed vesicles.
